Sales Development Representative

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) with 0-2 years of experience to join our growing sales team. The SDR will play a crucial role in building  the sales funnel by employing strategic, result-driven planning to effectively target potential customers. Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and strategize for the systematic construction and generation of the sales funnel.
  • Research and identify potential clients through various channels, including online resources, social media, and industry events.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling and cold emailing, to generate interest and qualify leads.
  • Run targeted email campaigns to engage potential clients and create meaningful conversations.
  • Qualify leads based on established criteria and set up meetings for the sales team with qualified prospects.
  • Clearly and effectively communicate the value proposition of the products and services to potential clients.
  • Lead management – Effectively manage and guide leads through the entire sales cycle, ensuring timely and personalized interactions to nurture relationships and drive successful conversions.
  • Build and maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect databases, through effective pipeline management.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective strategies for reaching out to potential clients and nurturing leads.
  • Maintain thorough records of all interactions and activities in the CRM system.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned targets for lead generation and qualification on a regular basis.
  • Collaborate with marketing to provide feedback on the effectiveness of campaigns and suggest improvements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to effectively position our offerings.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 0-2 years of proven experience in a sales-related role (preferred),with a focus on outbound prospecting and lead generation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage potential clients effectively.
  • Comfortable with making cold calls and sending cold emails to initiate conversations.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools is a plus.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven attitude, with a desire to exceed targets and contribute to team success.
  • Quick learner who can understand and articulate complex products or services.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of the industry or market segment is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Should be a self-starter, willing to learn and work in a startup environment beyond the designated job profile.

Overview

ISO/IEC 27001:2013 is a security management standard that specifies security management best practices and comprehensive security controls following the ISO/IEC 27002 best practice guidance. The basis of this certification is the development and implementation of a rigorous security program, which includes the development and implementation of an Information Security Management System (ISMS) which defines how RapL perpetually manages security in a holistic, comprehensive manner. This widely-recognized international security standard specifies that RapL do the following:

  • We systematically evaluate our information security risks, taking into account the impact of threats and vulnerabilities.
  • We design and implement a comprehensive suite of information security  controls and other forms of risk management to address customer and architecture security risks.
  • We have an overarching management process to ensure that the information security controls meet our needs on an ongoing basis.

Overview

SOC 2 compliance is a set of standards that organizations use to ensure the security, confidentiality, and integrity of their systems and data. SOC 2 compliance is often required by organizations that process or store sensitive data. RapL has compliance with SOC2 Type II report.
